Cabinet style car washes

We have gained significant experience with cabinet style car washes, having manufactured them in the past. However, we eventually decided to phase these products out of our offerings.

The advantages of these car washes may include a smaller footprint, apparent simplicity, and lower cost. However, we found that these benefits do not outweigh their drawbacks.

• Cabinet style car washes are only suitable for very low-traffic locations, as they lack sufficient capacity and adequate-sized buffer tanks to serve customers continuously. After just a few washes, the next cycle will not have enough hot water, and the demineralized water required for spot-free drying will be depleted if there isn’t enough time to regenerate between washes.
• In winter, even a brief power outage can cause the entire system to freeze, as the cabinet provides minimal protection for only a short period. The result: disappointed customers facing a closed car wash and expensive repairs.
• Additionally, cabinet car washes are difficult to service. The components are cramped into a small space, making access challenging, and maintenance must often be performed in adverse weather conditions.

Due to these reasons, we have discontinued the production of cabinet style car washes, and we do not recommend their purchase unless for very low-traffic, small-scale car wash installations. However, caution is advised! It is easy to underestimate the demand, and we frequently find ourselves expanding systems for customers as their needs increase.
