The larger bays located at the ends are also available for use. These bays are typically uncovered and suitable for trucks as well. At Kvaliwash stations, these bays have longer lances to easily reach the tops of taller vehicles, but they can be used for regular cars just like the other bays.
Payment is made by inserting coins into the coin slot of the control panel, which can be found at every washing bay. The panel indicates which coins are accepted by the machine.
The amount inserted is displayed on the control panel, and the balance decreases once the wash begins. When the balance reaches zero, the machine stops.
Some car washes offer a rechargeable memory key, available from the operator, which can be pre-loaded with funds for frequent users.
Many stations are equipped with coin exchange machines, where you can insert banknotes to receive coins for the wash. Where there’s no coin exchange machine, coins can usually be obtained from the staff on-site. Some car washes are also equipped with banknote accepors, providing payment directly with banknotes.
Card payment is also a common option. You simply enter the desired amount on the card reader and either tap your bank card or use a contactless payment method via your phone.
It depends on several factors: the size of the vehicle, how dirty it is, whether it was washed recently or a while ago, the experience of the user, and how long the wash can be used for a given amount at the specific car wash station.
